SABC Development Forum

The SABC Development Forum seeks to serves as a discussion platform for addressing and proposing solutions for problems experienced in local community development sphere. The Development Forum will be loaded and published monthly within the SABC Educational portal. It will be guided by its editorial policy in terms of content generation, design, marketing and dissemination strategies.

The Development Forum will provide space for blogging, development networks and links for Government Departments and other development organizations in South Africa. The on-line publication will provide space to extend its broader scope to South African Development Community (SADC) and other international development sectors.

Development users in the Internet will be able to receive copies of each publication in their e-mail addresses in html, word and PDF formats. Downloads will be available in SABC Education portal. Each format of html, word and PDF will have a mailing or distribution list and users will be able to subscribe and unsubscribe.

In order to broaden the scope of the Development Forum, the design will be able to provide items such as forward to a friend, easy to print and make the newsletter a home page.

The Development Forum will report on development issues around foundation, intermediate and senior phases as well. The overall objective of the Development Forum will be to focus its attention mostly on development news, partnerships, collaboration and foster contribution to strengthening of a democratic civil society for our diverse audiences.
